The Keepers includes four of Montreal’s finest musicians: Rick St. Jean, Bob Burgess, Nick Saraceno and Bill Hill. Rick, on rhythm guitar and lead vocalist, was a founding member of the Munks in the 60's. They recorded and played extensively in Montreal and Eastern Ontario. Bob, lead singer and bass player of the legendary Montreal garage band, The Haunted, co-wrote the single 1 2 5. Nick, drummer and back up vocalist, was also a member of The Haunted, founding member of The Bohemians, and a member of the Centaur Theatre's stage presentation of The Leonard Cohen Show. Bill started playing guitar at the age of 12. He played with Dave Nicholls and the Coins, JB and The Playboys (kings of the Montreal Rock-N-Roll scene in the mid-60s), and Freedom North with Rick St. Jean. In the mid 70's to mid 80's, he owned the recording studio, "Son Montreal Sound.”
